On 30 November 2011, the thirty second meeting in the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM), chaired by the United Nations, took place in Gali.
Participants discussed recent detention cases in the areas adjacent to the administrative boundary line and exchanged information on those detained. Freedom of movement issues at the Inguri Bridge and other crossing points were also discussed. The need for joint efforts in the fight against crime was raised. The meeting took place in a businesslike and professional atmosphere.
It was agreed that the next meeting will take place in Gali on 31 January 2012.
