FC Dila Gori joins campaign against gender violence

On the 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and the ensuing 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence are commemorated every year around the world to raise awareness and trigger action on this pervasive human rights violation. The EU Monitoring Mission is contributing with different events all over Georgia to support the campaign. EUMM Field Office Gori has prepared a series of radio spots to promote this with cooperation from the Gori Football Club FC Dila. Well-known players from the team have agreed to record clear messages against gender violence. The audio material which can be downloaded here will also be available on the weekly EUMM Gori programme on Trialeti Radio.
