On 14 February Mr Chris Kendall, Senior Political Adviser for relations with Georgia in the European External Action Service, visited EUMM Field Office Gori.

He explained that monitors patrol day and night, seven days a week to ensure there is no return to hostilities and to report any incidents. Mr Kendall was particularly interested in the confidence building aspect of the Mission’s work and the incident reporting, especially the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meetings and the use of the hotline.
