On 21 February Colonel Maximilian Eder, NATO Military Liaison Officer in Tbilisi, visited Field Office Mtskheta. Mat Whatley, the Field Office Chief gave a comprehensive briefing on the EUMM mandate, as well as priorities and activities on the ground. Colonel Maximilian Eder joined a patrol to Odzisi, where members of the Administrative Boundary Line Confidence Building Team explained the overall security situation and freedom of movement related issues. The NATO Military Liaison Officer took the opportunity to speak to various interlocutors during the patrol.
