On 8 September, during his official visit to Georgia, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius visited EUMM Mission Headquarters. The Minister was briefed by Head of Mission Kęstutis Jankauskas about the work of the Mission and discussed geopolitical issues relevant for the region.
On the same day EUMM hosted another delegation headed by Latvian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrejs Pildegovičs. The Latvian guests also received a comprehensive briefing about the mandate, role and tasks of the EUMM, provided by the Head of Mission.
Both delegations highly appreciated the great work done by the Mission on the ground and vowed to continue supporting its activities in the future as well.
