A high level Polish delegation visited the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia on 26 April. Members of the delegation, led by General Stanislaw Koziej, Head of the Polish National Security Agency, were Urszula Doroszewska, Ambassador of Poland, General Kazimierz Sikorski, Colonel Roman Opala, Military Attaché, Agnieszka Adamusinska and Daniel Mocias.
The visitors were welcomed by Ambassador Andrzej Tyszkiewicz, Head of the EUMM, then were briefed about the mandate and work of the Mission, security situation, recent achievements and current challenges.
The delegation followed a patrol by EUMM Field Office Mtskheta to Odzisi at the South Ossetian Administrative Boundary Line to see how EU observers work on the ground then met senior Georgian officials.
