On 14 May ambassador Ian C. Kelly, the United States Representative to the OSCE visited the EU Monitoring Mission headquarters in Tbilisi. The ambassador was welcomed by Gerard A. Fischer, Deputy Head of Mission then received an update on the security situation on the ground, recent achievements and current challenges. Ambassador Kelly also paid a visit to EUMM Field Office Mtskheta, from where he was escorted on a patrol to the South Ossetian Administrative Boundary Line at Odzisi and observed the circumstances of Internally Displaced Persons at Tserovani.
