On May 24 the Defence Attaché of the Czech Republic Lt. Colonel Ivan Trnka has visited the EUMM Field office Gori for a courtesy visit. Lt. Colonel Trnka will resign and leave Georgia soon after being in the country since 2000. EUMM Field office chief Manfred Meyer and his deputy Michael Irish Stephenson said good bye to Trnka and had the opportunity to meet his successor, Lt. Colonel Sebastian Lemes. Afterwards the Czech delegation took the chance to talk with some Czech EUMM monitors about the latest situation along the Administrative Boundary Line to South Ossetia.
