On 1 November Ambassador Tyszkiewicz,
the Head of the EU Monitoring Mission, had an introductory meeting with Paata
Zakareishvili, the State Minister for Reintegration.
The Minister underlined the importance
of the Geneva International Discussions in the conflict resolution process and
acknowledged the role of EUMM in improving stability on the ground.
Mr Zakareishvili said the Ministry would cooperate even closer with the Mission in terms of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism, especially on human security issues.
