On 13 April the telephone Hotline was activated in response to events unfolding in Gugudiantkari, where unknown people had reportedly been demolishing a privately owned garden. The EU Monitoring Mission sent a patrol on the spot and facilitated dialogue between the security actors on both sides of the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL). As a result, private property that was being removed from a vineyard was returned to the owner. EUMM is following up on the case. One of the topics at the next Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meeting on 16 April will be safety measures for farmers in areas adjacent to the ABL, a subject which EUMM is paying close attention to.
