Polish delegation visits EUMM Field Office Gori

On 09 July a high level delegation of Polish Senate visited EUMM Field Office Gori. The delegation, headed by Marshall of the Senate Bogdan Borusewicz, included Ambassador of Poland to Georgia Andrzej Cleszkowski, twelve high ranking Polish officials from several Senate Committees and seven journalists.

The group was welcomed by Mr. Ryan Grist, Deputy Head of EUMM and received a general briefing on the Mission’s mandate, its activities and the current situation along the Administrative Boundary Lines (ABL) with South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

Marshall Borusewicz also had an opportunity to hold a brief chat with Polish Monitors.
