To celebrate International Womens Day, the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia and its Field Office in Gori participated in a roundtable discussion about women’s professional development and careers. The roundtable recognised women’s work and professional development and encouraged women (and Georgian women especially) to seek various professional paths. Several prominent women participated, including Silvia Zehe, head of the Analytical Reporting and Outreach Department in EUMM headquarters; Alexandra Hall Hall, British Ambassador to Georgia; Lt. Eka Kvlividze of the Georgian Air Force; and Detective Maka Sauri from the Shida Kartli police, among others.
