The EU Monitoring Mission Georgia hosts the Speakers of the Parliaments of Nordic and Baltic Countries

On 20 March, EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) Field Office Gori (FOG) received a large group of Speakers from the Parliaments of the Nordic and Baltic countries. EUMM Head of Mission Kęstutis Jankauskas, Gori Field Office Chief Hans-Heinrich Schneider, and Deputy Field Office Chief Mihaela Gherasim greeted them.

The guests received a briefing on the EUMM mandate and operational highlights regarding the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) in the FOG Area of Operations. They departed soon afterwards on a short patrol to monitor the area close to the ABL. The Gori Field Office Chief, supported by other Field Office monitors, provided additional short briefings at selected locations.
