On 24 January, the 19th IPRM meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism took place in Dvani. The meeting was co-facilitated by the EU Monitoring Mission and the OSCE.
Participants reviewed recent incidents and detentions, the fate of those who remain in prison, and the exchange of detainees. There was also a discussion about the situation concerning missing persons. Safety measures to deal with the possible presence of mines in the vicinity of the Administrative Boundary Line were also raised.
The meeting was held in a constructive and cooperative manner.
It was agreed that the next meeting will take place on 21 February 2012.
