On 03 June 2014 the 45th meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in Ergneti, co-facilitated by Toivo Klaar, the Head of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM), and Ambassador Angelo Gnaedinger, the OSCE Special Representative for the South Caucasus.
Prior to the meeting OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Swiss President and Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter, addressed the participants.
Participants reviewed the overall security situation and cases of detained and missing persons. The effectiveness of the Hotline in resolving issues of local communities and security related matters was acknowledged.
Various topics related to the livelihood of local communities, such as access to drinking water, were discussed in a constructive atmosphere.
The next IPRM meeting will take place on 01 July 2014.
