46th IPRM meeting takes place in Ergneti

On 01 July 2014 the 46th meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in Ergneti, co-facilitated by Toivo Klaar, the Head of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM), and Ambassador Angelo Gnädinger.

Participants addressed challenges affecting local communities living along the Administrative Boundary Line. In this context, they paid particular attention to the seasonal problems encountered by shepherds in accessing pasturelands.

They also discussed issues related to detainees, missing persons and the crossing regime.

The next IPRM meeting will take place on 30 July 2014.
